Description of the project:

The two-year project between Gymnazium Jihlava and Cygnus Gymnasium in Amsterdam is based on regular communication and cooperation between students of both schools. Czech students with their Dutch partners work on different tasks together. Students also attend courses and meet regularly their teachers to be ready to work on various tasks from Biology, Chemistry, History and Ecology. The language of the project and communication is English

            Czech and Dutch students compare together their regions in water ecosystems, fauna, modification of countryside by water, artificial and natural water sources. Students also compare the approach to drinkable mode, water consumption in Czech and Dutch families, legislature in water consumption.

            Except from scientific tasks students also discuss and learn about educational systems, traditions, history of the partner´s country and important sights of capital cities and both regions.

            During the short students mobilities gained theory and knowledge turns into practice. Students of both schools work together in their teams, present main sights in the region. Students explore the ecosystems in eco centres, do researches in the labs and produce landscape models.
